FREE Infection Prevention & Control Team Program!
Coretactics Infection Prevention and Control Team Program has proven to be highly beneficial to long-term care facilities. For a limited time, this program is being offered free of charge by Project Firstline NY. This is an interactive and fun way for your staff to learn more about the role they play in infection prevention and control.
Infection Prevention and Control Team Program experts will visit your facility for 3 hours and work with a team of your Firstline staff. Coretactics’ experts will teach your staff how to conduct infection prevention and control team rounds, identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to improve performance. After participating in the Coretactics infection prevention and control team program, your staff is encouraged to share their new expertise with colleagues to create more experts throughout your organization.
Your Firstline Infection Control Team Will:
- Learn the importance of infection control for residents and staff.
- Take part in infection control rounds and learn to interpret results.
- Apply the QA/QAPI process using their findings.
- Understand how to avoid citations by engaging all staff.
- Identify high-priority findings to monitor over the next 3 months.
- Be empowered to share what they learn with other Firstline staff.
